Police End Search for Young Boy Missing in Australian Wilderness
Australia's law enforcement have ended the hunt for a four-year-old who has been missing in the outback for nearly twenty-one days, after additional operations failed to locate any signs of the youngster.

The young boy was spotted engaging outside his home on a secluded farmland near Yunta, about 186 miles from Adelaide, on September 27th.
His grandmother left him alone for about thirty minutes before looking for him, only to realize the child gone, prompting one of the largest land and air searches in local history.
Latest Situation
Police - who do not believe foul play - say they will continue investigating, but that the matter has become a "recovery mission".
Last week, police briefly scaled back the hunt, only to resume it on Tuesday alongside 80 military staff.
"Spokesperson Grant Stevens said officials were scanning a wider zone based on revised analyses from survival and rescue professionals, rather than any new information."
Search Difficulties
On recently, authorities confirmed that the latest operation had not found any traces of the boy.
"The fact that Gus is a young child, the terrain is extremely difficult, harsh and subject to unpredictable climate has made the operation demanding and more complex for those participating," police said in a release.
About 470 sq km - an region approximately two times the area of urban center - has now been covered, and a 12-person taskforce established recently is expected to carry on investigating. Authorities have not ruled out further missions of the area in the coming days.

The boy, who has been portrayed as an adventurous but quiet youngster, was observed wearing a grey headwear, light grey pants, footwear and a azure long-sleeved top featuring a yellow character character.
The incident has provoked huge concern across the country, with photographs of the light-haired, curly-haired youngster displayed throughout regional news and conjecture running rife digitally.
It caused police to ask that members of the public cease contacting them with their "opinions", and request for them to obtain information from reliable places.
Loved Ones Response
Police lately said the child's family remain "resilient" despite the heartbreaking circumstances.
"It's easy to comprehend just how they are feeling... without having answers as to specifically where the boy is and what's happened to him. This would be heartbreaking for every family," Official authorities said.
Via a representative, the Lamont family has previously said they are "overwhelmed" by Gus's loss.
"This has come as a shock to our family and acquaintances, and we are struggling to comprehend what has occurred," Bill Harbison said.
"Gus's disappearance is experienced in everyone, and we miss him more than language can describe."
